Your Session:
A session with me is normally an hour but if we have to go longer I am OK with that. The more comfortable you are, the better your photos are going to turn out … therefore, the first ten minutes or so may be me taking a few pictures here & there, talking and you getting used to me being in your face! :) I try to keep the "say cheese pictures" to a minimum. I like normal, you being you type photos but it's ok if we sneak a couple "cheese" pictures in there.
During your session
I might ask you to move furniture, read a book , play peek-a-boo or something strange or funny thing. I feel those type of actions make great photos. If you feel uncomfortable with any of it, just say so, and we will move on to the next thing. I will spend the the first few minutes of our session getting to know you and your family. I want you and your children to feel at ease with me. During your session , I will take a lot of pictures, some of which may not show up in your final cd. Why? I take multiple photos of a single pose to ensure that I get the best shot possible.
What to wear?
Your outfits are the most important parts to your photo- besides you of course! Having a great outfit can totally transform a photograph. I generally advise you to have 2-3 outfit changes.
Have you ever found an outfit that lights up your eyes but you would never have to the courage to wear it out in public?!? That type of outfit works PERFECT for Love Junkie Photos.
Anything with a funky pattern, great texture or even some fluff & puff will add a fun flare to your photos.
LAYERS: They work great in photos and give extra dimension to a picture. For little kids (okay, even big kids like adults) adding mix match layers also give your photos a great look.
COLORS: Colors can also determine how a photo turns out. Colors like Hot Pink, Violet, Turquoise, Teal and Royal Blue all look wonderful.
Still Not Sure What to Wear? Bring your suitcase! Bring everything that you think may have potential and we can go through it and put together a spectacular outfit or two or three or four. If you want, you can also send me an email with a couple photos of the clothes you are planning on bring so I can plan what props to bring.
